Your certificate and CPD record

When you finish a module, record your study in your library and download a certificate with your name, the module, the indicative study time, the date and a code anyone can check.

Two pages, one file

For HCPC registrants

Podiatrists, physiotherapists, dietitians and other HCPC registrants have no set number of hours. The HCPC asks you to keep a continuous, up-to-date record of your CPD and, if you are selected for audit, to present a written profile showing how your CPD has improved your practice and benefited service users. The boxes on the CPD record follow those standards.

For nurses, midwives and nursing associates

NMC revalidation asks for 35 hours of CPD over three years, at least 20 of them participatory, meaning learning that involves interaction with other professionals. LimbWise and Veritant are self-directed study, so record the hours as individual learning. They do not count towards the 20 participatory hours. The CPD record includes the method, dates, hours and the part of the Code the NMC asks you to log.

Self-declared study, not accredited continuing professional development. The certificate is a record of your own study. It is not a qualification and has not been accredited by any professional or regulatory body. Your regulator decides what counts towards your CPD.
