Law and guidance on AI in healthcare change, and an official page can go out of date without warning. Veritant's claim is narrow: its statements about law, regulation and professional standards are dated, taken from the primary source and kept current on a stated cycle. This unit shows you how to read them, and how to apply the same checks to anything else you rely on.
It explains how Veritant maps to the HEE AI and Digital Healthcare Technologies Capability Framework (2023), which statements it serves, and where it teaches law the framework does not name, such as equality law and the EU AI Act. It teaches the five markings on every regulatory statement, five currency checks that work on any source, your professional code's competence duty applied to the AI tools you are asked to use, and what happens to a unit, and to your certificate, when the law moves. Veritant is education, not legal advice, and the unit shows you where to take a question that needs advice.
You receive the Master Teaching Document as a PDF and the slide deck as a PDF. It is included free with any Veritant unit.
